The beginning of
the project was quite challenging as we were about to face the starting of the
covid pandemic. Therefore, the activities were postponed and we had to move
them to the next school year.
The staff and the students were presented
details about the new Erasmus project and they were informed that there would
be a logo competition. The students were very pleased to hear about it, as some
of them are very good at drawing and using their digital skills to create the
logo.
They worked in online
groups/pairs and also individually in order to create the logo of the project,
using their own skills and developing them.
Students designed many logos, but only few of them have been voted by the
selection board made up of students and teachers. At project level, there have
been chosen three logos and then each country had to vote for one.
A turkish student´s
logo was the winner and it became the logo of the project that we have been
using on everything related to the project ever since.
On addition to the
selection of the logo, students met one of the local painters, who is very
famous on national level. They painted together, asked questions, tried thei
best to learn new things, like angles, colours etc. He also told them about the
variety of prizes he won worldwide and gave them tips for a healthy and
successful life.
